Unless I'm wrong, they were D2 last year and this year. I don't think they've had any kind of appeal this year. CW and Haysi both petitioned and were allowed to drop both years. I'm assuming if Coeburn had, they'd be D1 now too.
Coeburn did appeal and drop to D1 last year, correct?

Also, if I'm correct they have only lost one game in the district to TW right.
Here's the big question, if they are D2 and end up when the Cumberland, who woulda thunk it? That would really destroy some play-off hopes of other D2 teams.

In 07 and 08 Coeburn was able to apeal to play Div 1 and alone with Clintwood and Castlewood (Haysi was Div 1 without the appeal) they won that appeal and were Div 1Originally Posted by Sportsman*
For 09 10 Coeburn is no longer small enough to appeal to play Div 1 so for this season and next season will be Div 2
Don't have the numbers here at work with me, but Coeburn's ADM went up by something like 25 and Lee's went down by about 60, so Coeburn was too big to appeal for this cycle.
